Within our philosophy is the second life of the bottle. We are very aware of our responsibility for the environment. Both the container and the cap are made of aluminum, a 100% recyclable material.
In addition, thanks to technological advances, today’s aluminum containers require about 40% less than those of 25 years ago.
You can recycle an aluminum container an infinite number of times without losing quality and with much less impact than virgin material.

How did the idea come about?
They invite you to dinner or lunch at a house, a first thought is: “I’ll bring a bottle of wine”. The reality is that you go to the supermarket and you find a shelf full of different wines. Which one do you choose? There are two fairly common options: choose one whose name sounds familiar to you because you’ve been told about it or choose the one whose name or bottle catches your attention…You leave there thinking: “I hope it’s good.”
Only the knowledge of more than 130 years has led Bodegas Vicente Gandía to be the best European winery, but one day he felt that it was not enough. He had to find something extraordinary, a way to communicate with this public so far removed from the world of wine. That day resulted in Sandara, a drink to enjoy a sparkling wine without complications.
